You can currently pledge commodities as collateral, including gold and silver.
With Pharos, you will be able to borrow popular commodities including gold and silver. We are also looking to expand our loan offerings, so do stay tuned for the rollout of additional products.
LTV is the ratio of your loan to the value of your collateral. Here at Pharos, we use a composite index price to calculate the LTV, factoring in multiple price data from major exchanges.
The interest will be accrued from the day you put your collateral with us.During the period of your loan, we will pay out the previous month's interest accrued on the first working day of the following month. At the end of the loan tenure, we will pay out the final month's interest on the maturity date.
All loans with Pharos are up to 12-months in tenure, and will be automatically renewed. You can choose to repay at any time with any amount.
You close your loan, or make amendments to your loan terms, by informing us at least 10 working days in advance.
The minimum loan requirement is 10 lots of Gold, or 100 lots of Silver.
The maximum loan amount is subject to risk approval, and on a case-by-case basis.
We pay you the interest on a monthly basis. Upon reaching the maturity date, the original capital will be claimed back from you.
There is a daily penalty of 0.05% charged on the overdue loan repayment amount.
Should the value of your collateral fall below 20%, the lender has the right to request for a top up of additional collateral to 25% before you can close your existing position.
